How long have you been in
franchising?We have just launched our
franchise package in the UK.
Where is Head Office?Head Office is
in Milton Keynes.
On what basis do you choose your franchisee's -
how selective are you?We have a rigorous
recruitment process to help ensure that we select only
the most suitable people.
How much does your franchise
cost?£9,995 (exc. VAT) plus equipment
requirements and working capital to get your business
started.
What does this price include?Your
initial franchise fee secures your territory, the rights
to operate, your initial vehicle lease deposit payment, a
full training programme and a comprehensive launch
package.
May I see actual accounts which confirm your
projections?On signing a confidentiality
agreement we will be happy to give you access to
up-to-date financial information with regard to our own
business in order for you to create your business plans.
What financing arrangements can you make and
what terms for repayment will there be?We
have worked in conjunction with a number of the leading
franchise banks and can put you in contact with them if
you wish to determine what their terms could be.
What fees do you charge?During the
term of your franchise agreement you will pay a
management fee equivalent to 10% of the gross sales
revenue. There is also a fixed Sales and Marketing
Fee of £150 per month.
What advertising and promotional expenditure do
you incur?We levy a fixed Sales and Marketing
Fee, which is used to fund marketing and promotional
activity, needed to develop and promote the brand.
What initial services do you offer?A
loan copy of the operations manual and a full training
programme backed up by a launch support package. We also
put in place a full sales and marketing programme,
including customized web site development.
What continuing services do you provide after
the business has commenced?C&R will
update you with any alterations or improvements to our
systems through the operations manual. Our Head Office
will provide you with full support on a day-to-day basis.
May I have a copy of your franchise
agreement?Yes, subject to signing a
confidentiality agreement.
Does this contract permit me to sell the
business?Yes, with the prior written consent
of C&R.
What restrictions affect my rights to sell the
business?These are detailed within our
franchise agreement.
For how long is the franchise
granted?A minimum of five years, but with the
right to renew as detailed in the franchise agreement.
What will happen if I do not like the business?
Can I terminate the contract?If a franchisee
were to terminate their agreement they would have to
immediately discontinue the use of any C&R trademarks
and comply with the terms of the franchise agreement.
What will the opening hours of the business
be?We expect franchisee's to trade in line
with customer requests, although our existing business
broadly operates during daytime hours.
What services can I sell?You can
sell only the specified products and services as
permitted by C&R Technologies Limited.
